For over 30 years, Herbert Huber, owner of Hotel Pollinger in Merano, personally delighted our guests with his culinary creations. Today, our dedicated kitchen team, led by Head Chef Alessandro, is responsible for creating unforgettable culinary experiences during your stay at our gourmet hotel in Merano.
The combination of Italian lightness, authentic South Tyrolean character, and many years of culinary creativity turns your holiday in South Tyrol into a truly delicious experience. The secret behind our exceptional cuisine lies in first-class ingredients, natural products from the region, and a strong commitment to seasonal produce.
Our restaurant is open from March until the end of October. On New Year’s Eve, we also serve an exquisite New Year’s Eve dinner.
Starting in 2027, our restaurant will be closed on Wednesdays. This gives our team a short well-deserved break – and gives you the opportunity to discover the culinary diversity of Merano. Just a few minutes’ walk from the hotel, you will find a variety of excellent restaurants and pizzerias ready to tempt your palate. Breakfast will, of course, be served as usual every day. On Wednesdays, instead of dinner at the hotel, you will receive a €28 credit per full-paying guest (with half board).
